To blink, or not to blink. That is the question. In the blink of an eye,
our lives change. Sometimes for the better, sometimes…not.
Blinking can be a good thing…helps the eyes refresh themselves a bit. If you’ve been staring at a computer screen so long that you begin to think you can see a teeny-tiny man in there frantically connecting plugs and wires to teeny-tiny brains..it’s time to blink.
Sometimes,,,you’re really glad that you didn’t blink. Staring contests can be a good example of this.
If you have a ten year old and taking the trash out for a year is riding on this…DON’T BLINK.
If you’re being hypnotized by a very large cobra…DON’T BLINK.
If your daughter announces that she’s going to live in a hole in the
ground with her “objectionable” boyfriend…DON’T BLINK.
If you’re strapped into one of those eye exam chairs and the doctor is blinding you with a brilliant white light…DON’T BLINK. (and you thought the cobra was dangerous, these guys get very upset if you blink.)
And now for some very wonderful reasons not to blink….If I had blinked, I would have missed these….
